Cleanliness is Service is the core idea behind this programme. Officials and residents have come together to understand how important it is to keep our surroundings clean,” he said.

He also highlighted Daringbadi’s growing popularity as a tourist destination and said the campaign aims to protect its natural beauty.

“Through our campaign ‘Clean Daringbadi, Green Daringbadi’, we want both locals and visitors to respect nature and help preserve the environment,” Rath added.

Cleanliness Is a Collective Responsibility

Tahasildar Dhiraj Patra echoed similar views, stressing that keeping Daringbadi clean is not the job of one person or department alone.

“This is a collective effort, not an individual one. Under the motto ‘Clean Daringbadi, Green Daringbadi’, everyone has a role to play in maintaining cleanliness,” he said.

Thanking those who joined the drive, Patra pointed out that thousands of tourists from across Odisha and other states visit Daringbadi during winter, making it crucial to keep the area clean and attractive.
