Oppo has announced that it will launch its new Reno 15 series in India on January 8. The lineup includes three smartphones — the Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G, Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G, and Reno 15 5G.
The Reno 15 Pro 5G and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G will come with a massive 200MP main camera. Both Pro models will also feature a 50MP 3.5x telephoto portrait camera with up to an 85mm focal length, along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera offering a 100-degree field of view.
Oppo said the Reno 15 Pro 5G and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G will support 4K HDR video recording at up to 60fps across all cameras — front, main, ultra-wide and telephoto. Video performance on the Pro models will be boosted by a Dual Conversion Gain (DCG) video system on the main rear camera.
All cameras in the Reno 15 series will support EIS 2.0 stabilisation, while the main and telephoto cameras will also get optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The Reno 15 lineup will feature AI Editor 3.0, which includes tools such as AI Portrait Glow. This feature analyses the scene and automatically adjusts lighting using styles like Natural Light, Flash Light, Rim Light, or Studio Light. The AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo tool can turn motion shots into smoother motion photos.
The Popout feature will allow users to combine multiple photos or motion shots into one dynamic image, adding depth and a layered effect.
All Reno 15 phones will get a 0.6x ultra-wide front camera. Features like Dual-View Video will allow users to record using both the front and rear cameras at the same time with split-screen options. Multi-Output Capture will let users take photos or motion shots while recording videos.
For video editing, the Reno 15 5G will come with Video Editing 2.0, which promises fast on-device editing. It will support trimming, speed control, transitions, beat-synced edits, and high-quality exports, including high-frame-rate HDR video and motion photo support.
The Reno 15 5G will feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 3.5x telephoto portrait lens, a 50MP selfie camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
